BASOS / FACTS Course

Fertilizer Advisors, Certification and Training Scheme

Fertasa administers a fertilizer advisors’ training course, which is a distance learning course. The course is aimed at improving the skills of fertilizer advisors. Candidates are drawn from the private, government, agri-business and co-operative sectors in South Africa as well as its neighbouring countries. The course is open to all interested persons.

IMPORTANT:

Full payment of the Basos-Facts Course must be made within 60 days from date of registration. Failing to do so will result in automatic cancellation of your registration.

Please note:

Should you choose to write your exams over more than one sitting, it is highly recommended that you write Modules 1, 2 and 3 first.

Guidelines for the registration process

The following link will take you to our online registration form: Online Basos-Facts Course Registration
Complete all the fields as required and click on “Register” and you will receive a user name and password
You can either request an invoice or upload the proof of payment whereupon an email will be sent to the Basos-Facts admin team to activate your access to the Basos-Facts exam page
You will then receive an email notification of your activation whereupon you can either click on the link provided or log in with your username and password

Study Material

Once you have registered on line and paid for the FACTS/BASOS course, your study material (Bemestingshandleiding / Fertilizer Handbook) will be couriered to your physical address.
